1. तलका प्रश्िहरूको छोटो उत्तर लेख्िुहोि ् । (Give short answer question to the
following question.)

(a) पथ्
ृ वीको भूम्ध्र्रे खीर् क्षेत्र र धुवमा ‘g’ को माि कनत हुन्छ ? ( What is the value
of ‘g’ in the equatorial and polar region of the earth ? )
(b) हाईड्रोसमटरको कुिै एक उपर्ोगिता लेख्िुहोि ् । ( Write down any one application
of hydrometer. )

down the name of equipment that is used to utilitize the solar energy. )
(d) ताप िमीकरर् भिेको के हो ? ( What is heat equation ? )
(e) स्टे प अप ट्रान्िफमयरको एउटा ववशेषता लेख्िुहोि ् । ( Write down one special
feature of step up transformer. )
(f) प्रकाशको िहभागितामा हुिे एक िंर्ोर्ि रािार्निक प्रनतक्रिर्ा लेख्िुहोि ् । ( Write
down any one combination chemical reaction that takes place in the presence
of light.)

ethylene. )

is affected by the consumption of alcohol ? )
(k) िासभक कुि रक्तकोषमा पाइन्छ ? ( In which blood cell is the nucleus found ? )
(l) टे लोिेख्न्ट्रक िोमोर्ोम भिेको के हो ? ( What is telocentric
chromosome ? )

What type of asexual reproduction is performed by the organism
shown in the figure ? )
(n) र्ेनिदटक्िका वपता भिेर किलाई गचनिन्छ ? ( Who is known as the father of
genetics ? )
(o) ‘Milky Way’ ग्र्ालक्िीमा कनत ओटा िक्षत्रहरू छि ् ? ( How many constellation
are there in ‘Milky Way’ galaxy ? )

2. पथृ वीमा पूर्य स्वतन्त्र खिाई हुाँिैि । कारर् दििुहोि ् । (There is not complete
freefall in the earth. Give reason. )

ु ओटा भािा ‘A’ र ‘B’ मा अण्िा र तरल पिाथय रखखएको छ र भािा ‘B’ मा रहे को तरल
पिाथयमा अण्िा तइररन्छ भिे कुि भािामा बढी उ्वयचाप होला ? कारर्िदहत लेख्िुहोि ् ।
( In two vessels, ‘A’ and ‘B’, egg and liqud are placed. If in vessel ‘B’ the egg
floats then out of both vessel in which vessel there is more upthrust ? Clarify
with reason. )
4. दिइएको गचत्रको आधारमा तलका प्रश्िहरूको उत्तर दििुहोि ् ।
( From the given figure, answer the following
question. )
(i) दिइएको ऊर्ायको स्रोतको िाम लेख्िुहोि ् । (Name
the given source of energy. )
(ii) र्दि उक्त स्रोतलाई बालेमा कुि ऊर्ायहरूमा पररवतयि हुन्छ । ( If the given
source is burnt then to what energy will it changes to ? )

advantages of fluorescent lamp. )

following electronic configuration and answer the following question.)

रािार्ानिक प्रनतक्रिर्ाको प्रकार पनि लेख्िुहोि ् । (Write the balanced chemical
equation for the following word equation along the type of chemcial reaction.)

लेख्िुहोि ् । (Honey bee is useful for both human beings and plants. Give any two
reasons.)
11. मानििको मख्स्तष्कको िेरेब्रममा चोट पुग्िा के हुन्छ र त्र्स्तो क्रकि हुन्छ ? (What
happens when there is a wound in the cerebrum of the brain of human and
why does that happen ?)
12. रितको गचत्र बिाई त्र्िमा पाइिे कुिै चार ओटा तत्त्वको िामकरर् ििुयहोि ् । (Draw a
diagram of blood and label any fours major elements.

adjoining figure answer the following question.) B

15. चन्रमाको वपण्ि र अधयव्र्ाि िमशः ७ × १०२२ kg र १.७ × १०६ m छि ् भिे चन्रमाको

ु त्वप्रवेि कनत होला ? ८० kg वपण्ि भएको वस्तुको तौल चन्रमामा कनत होला ?
(The mass and the radius of the moon are 7.2 × 1022 kg and 1.7 × 106 m
respectively then calculate the acceleration due to garvity of the moon and
also the weight of the object of mass 80 kg on the surface.)
16. २० cm केन्रीकरर् िरू ी भएको एउटा कन्भेक्ि लेन्िबाट ४० cm टाढा एउटा बसलरहे को
मैिबत्ती राखखएको छ । उक्त अवस्था िे खाउिे क्रकरर् रे खागचत्र बिाई उक्त लेन्िको
ववस्तनृ त दहिाब िरी निकाल्िुहोि ् ।
(Draw the ray diagram of image formed by the convex lens having focal length
20 cm. If the lighting candle is placed 40 cm away from lens then also calculate
the magnification of lens.)

(Write down one-one use of iron, aluminium and gold.)

Clarify with chemical reaction.)
iv) र्दि र्म्धमा भएको ग्र्ााँिलाई – ७८oC िम्धम गचस्र्ाउिे हो भिे के हुन्छ ? (What
happens to gas when it is cooled upto -78oC ?)
