A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HON. JOSEPH A. EVANGELISTA, CITY

MAYOR TO ENTER AND SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BY AND
AMONG THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF KIDAPAWAN; THE LOCAL
GOVERNMENT ACADEMY (LGA) OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR
AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DILG) REPRESENTED BY EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR MARIVEL C. SACENDONCILLO; AND THE DEPARTMENT OF
THE INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DILG),REPRESENTED BY
DIRECTOR REYNALDO M. BUNGUBUNG, CESO IV,REGIONAL OFFICE XII
ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
GOALS FAMILY-BASED ACTION FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR ENVIRONS
IN THE SLUM (SDG-FACES) PROJECT IN KIDAPAWAN CITY.

WHEREAS, the Local Government Academy (LGA) of the Department of Interior and
Local government (DILG) is implementing the project entitled Sustainable
Development Goals Family-based Actions for Children and their Environs
in the Slum (SDG-FACES);

WHEREAS, this project aims to create sustainable development , including all of its
Social, Ecological and Economic aspects, ending poverty and hunger,
improving health and education making cities sustainable and combating
climate change;

WHEREAS, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is responsible
to strengthen the capability of Local Government Units towards effective
local governance by exercising supervisory power over the Local
Government Units;

WHEREAS, the City Government of Kidapawan is ready and willing to support the
Local Government Academy (LGA) and the Department of Interior and
Local Government to implement the project on Sustainable Development

 Goals Family –based Action for Children and their Environs in the Slum
(SDG-FACES) Project;

WHEREAS, all provision stipulated in the Memorandum of Agreement are beneficial

among parties, the City Government of Kidapawan, the Local Government
Academy of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and
the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Region XII;

WHEREFORE, premises considered, upon motion duly seconded, the body;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to authorize, as it is hereby authorized the Hon.

Joseph A. Evangelista, City Mayor, to enter and sign the Memorandum of
Agreement by and among the City of Kidapawan; The Local Government
Government Academy (LGA) of the Department of Interior and Local
Government (DILG) represented by Executive Director Marivel C.
Sacendoncillo; and the Department of the Interior and Local Government
(DILG) Region XII represented by Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung,CESO
IV, Regional Office XII on the Implementation of the Sustainable
Development Goals Family-based Action for Children and their Environs in
the Slum (SDG-FACES) Project in Kidapawan City;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished to Hon. Joseph A.

Evangelista, City Mayor, Executive Director Marivel C. Sacendoncillo at 8th
Floor Agustin I Building, F. Ortigas Jr. Road, Ortigas, Pasig City, Regional
Director Reynaldo M. Bungubung,CESO IV ,at Sumpay Bldg., Block IV,
Marañon Village,Barangay Zone III, Koronadal City, for their information
and reference.
