GUIDELINES TO THE QUIZ

- A question will only be read twice.
- A candidate who attempts to answer a question at the first reading by the quiz master will be given a
zero for that particular question even if the answer he/she tried to give was correct. Candidates should
be reminded to be patient until the question is read for the second time by the Quiz master.
- Questions should be answered within 30 seconds. A candidate can give as many attempts as possible
within 30 seconds. However, certain questions will only demand for one attempt.
- The time-keeper will only start counting the time after the second reading of the question.
- A question that has not been correctly answered by one panel, will not be transferred to another panel.
It will instead be given to the audience.
- Each category will have five rounds.
- 5 marks will be given for each correct answer.
- No mark will be awarded for partial answers.
