Towards Optimal Learning Training Guidelines and House Rules Training Schedule Day 1: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm Day 2: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Day 3: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm • Be on time for the sessions. • To earn CPD credit units, you should complete the training with output. Attendance • Zoom will automatically record your attendance log in the three-day INSET. • The PEAC Host will also manually check and monitor your attendance in Zoom. • There is no need to accomplish any attendance form. • The PEAC Host has the option to put the participant in the waiting room or remove from the meeting if the participant is distracting, disruptive, uncooperative or has been idle for 15 minutes or more during the sessions without any notice. Other House Rules • Mute your microphone during the sessions. • Use the Raise Hand button and unmute your microphone when you want to ask a question to the trainer or answer a question. • Send a DM (Direct Message) to the PEAC Host in the Chatbox if your query should be addressed to the secretariat. • Participants should keep their videos on during the sessions. The PEAC Host monitors your attendance. You may stop your video during the breaks. • Your name in the Zoom video should match your registered name in the INSET. Data Privacy Guidelines • The sessions may be recorded for PEAC use only. • If you do not consent to being included in the class picture, stop your video when the photo is taken. • Your real names are displayed in your video and PEAC recommends using a virtual background while in training. • Refrain from taking screen shots when in Gallery View. Joining the Breakout Room • A participant can only join the breakout room he/she is assigned to. • When a participant leaves the breakout room or gets disconnected, he/she can re-join by clicking the Join Breakout Room icon shown below. Breakout Rooms • Once assigned to a breakout room, participants must indicate their room number before their name by renaming it in their Zoom video. (e.g., 1-Juan dela Cruz or 2-Maria Cruz) • Participants are expected to accomplish the required workshop outputs or participate in the activity when they are sent to the breakout rooms. • A message may be flashed in your breakout room for updates or reminders. Power/Internet Interruption In case the trainer gets disconnected due to a power or internet interruption, please stand by. Evaluation Form • An online evaluation will be conducted by PEAC on Day 3 afternoon. • The link to the evaluation form will be launched by the PEAC Host in the Chatbox. Certificate of Attendance • Participants who attended the INSET with at least 75% accumulated attendance log (excluding lunch break) or equivalent to 14 hours of the total session hours will receive their Certificate of Attendance (COA) in 2-3 weeks via email. • Make sure you are logged in to Zoom using your own Zoom account with your name similar to your registered name in the INSET. Certificate of Completion • The Certificate of Completion (COC) with CPD credit units will be emailed to licensed professional teachers who have at least 75% accumulated attendance log and submitted the required workshop output. • LET passers before and during the scheduled INSET run are eligible to receive the Certificate of Completion. • LET passers after the scheduled INSET run are not eligible to receive the Certificate of Completion. Certificate of Completion (continued) • PEAC will email the COC in approximately 2-3 months after the training given that the licensed participants are officially registered, provided their correct and complete personal information and completed the training with output. • Check your Inbox and Spam or Junk folder. • If after 3 months you have not received your COC, please email data.privacy@peac.org.ph and provide the complete details.
