 This feature on LTE FDD/TDD networks is introduced in GENEX Discovery
V200R003C00.
 This feature on UMTS networks is introduced in GENEX Discovery V200R003C00.
 This feature on NR networks is introduced in GENEX Discovery V200R008C00.

1.2 Feature Description

1.2.1 LTE FDD/TDD NE Alarm Verification
Summary
This feature provides the NE alarm verification function and NE alarm geographic
observation function based on NE configuration data, engineering parameters, and alarm data.

Benefits
Customers can use this feature to quickly query information about NE alarms. Based on the
query results, they can learn whether network quality changes are related with NE alarms. On
the live network, many network quality problems are caused by NE device faults, and NE

alarms are reported for most NE device faults. With the NE alarm verification function,
customers can quickly analyze whether network quality changes are caused by NE alarms.
This avoids cross-system queries, reduces the query cost, and improves the network
optimization efficiency.

Verification), Vendor (Huawei), RAT, Period (a single day), Time (one or more
hours), and Object (NE).

1.4 License Requirements

 The NE Alarm Check license is of the resource type, and the measurement dimension is
cell on UMTS, LTE, and NR networks. To use this feature, users need to apply for the
license first. In addition, this feature can be sold independently or included in the
foundation package license.
 Data source dependencies:
− Huawei NE analysis relies on the Huawei XXX Data Access license.
 Data source dependencies:
− Huawei NE analysis relies on the Huawei Data Access license for the corresponding
RAT. NE alarm data generation depends on related licenses of NEs.

1 NE Alarm Check
Specifications

Data of cleared alarms and uncleared alarms within
14 days is stored.

When the total number of alarms in the database
exceeds 100 million, the uncleared alarms will be
aged.
Multiple days
Less than or equal to 1000 (The value is not restricted
in the software. If the value is greater than 1000, a
message indicating that the response speed is slow is
displayed.)
Report files can be exported in .csv or .xlsx format.
1 hour. For example, data between 2:00 and 3:00 can
be queried between 4:00 and 5:00.
