HOLISTIC LESSON PLAN

Subject Area: Standard Mathematics

Grade Level: High School (10th Grade)

Aim: Students will learn an advance level of Math assessing higher mathematical abilities

compared to basic level.

Goal: Students will be able to understand on what future courses they plan to take.

Holistic Objectives:

Cognitive Objective: When reading the Standard Mathematics, students recall what they

learned in the basic math. These will be applied when they continue to pursue standard math to

enter Senior High and choose an appropriate strand they prefer for their course.

Procedures:
 Using stock knowledge, they have previously learned in their class, students will be given

a task to determine their strengths and skills.

 The students will set their interests in specific fields that suits best for them.

Affective Objective: Students will be able to understand to us the language, symbols, and

notations of mathematic. These can develop mathematical curiosity and analyze to use in solving

problems both in school and in real life situations.

Procedures:

As a class, we will help student classify their interests and strengths.

 As a class, the teacher will create an individual conference to help student voice out their

concerns and seeking help for a second opinion.

 Teacher will contribute meaningfully to class discussion by identifying their own

questions and insights about the readings.

Psychomotor Objective: Students will participate in the class, read, write, recite, and listen

that include learning what they see on the board.

Procedures:
 Students will be divided into groups to participate in an activity. As a class, we will

answer the given math problem that is shown on the board. One classmate will write the

math problem on the paper, the others will solve the problem, another will recite the

answer, and the rest will listen to the person reciting in the front.
