The Curtiss SBC Helldiver

was a two-place scout
bomber and the last
military biplane procured
by the United States Navy.

The SBC Helldiver did not

have a long U.S. service life,
but the type made a lasting
contribution by serving as
the key platform in
developing dive bombing
tactics and honing aircrew
skills crucial to winning the
war in the Pacific.

The SBC-4 entered service

in 1939 and was powered
by a Wright R-1820 Cyclone.

Print on 5x7” (13x18 cm) photo paper for a nice large
picture postcard size kit. Or print two pages per sheet
of ordinary A4 or Letter size paper. Only the two last
pages need to be printed on photo paper for cutting
out (one A4 or Letter size sheet). View other pages on
screen, or print on regular paper.
