I. LEARNING ACTIVITIES

“My Ideal Farm”

My ideal farm is I picture it to one of the most successful vegetable

garden in the region. The farm offer all kind of vegetables that are used in the production of
salads like cucumber ,lettuce and etc. I also have some animals in my farm like pigs and some
dogs. I don’t want to take care of goats or cow because they can eat my vegetable plants. There
are also trucks in the farm to transport the produce in the market. We also offer to door delivery
of the products to our customers. I love taking part in the production part just to be sure that my
workers are doing just as it is expected of them. I also love going to the market to interact with
the customers as with this I will be able to know their perspective about our product. Their views
will also help me to know the areas that we need to improve so that we can give them the best
products. I am a risk taker and I am very comfortable with uncertainty. It is through the
uncertainties that I will know of my mistakes and how I am going to correct them. Fearing to
take risks I will not what works right and what does not. In taking risks, I will eventually fall into
the right thing and I will also know what is needed to succeed. According to my opinion,
financial security refers to the peace of mind that one feels when you are not worried about the
income being enough to cover the expenses. As for my case, I can say that I am financial secure
since I already saved enough money to cover up for any financial emergencies as well as the
financial goals. As for the people working in the farm, I would prefer hiring people for outside
help. Hiring will ensure that I recruit experience people who have enough knowledge on farming
of vegetables. The products and services that are offered in the farm are very helpful. Other value
added products in the farm are watermelon fruits that are grown together with the vegetables.
The most profitable markets for the products are restaurants and they are also the most
convenient.
Instructions: Assume that you are given a 1 hectare of farm land. Describe how
your farm look like. What are the crops and/or livestock (plants and animals) that
