1. In cognizance of DepEd Order No. 60, s. 2021 entitled Guidelines on Galaw

Pilipinas: The DepEd National Calisthenics Exercises Program, this Office
announces
The school launching of Galaw Pilipinas at San Lorenzo Ruiz ES on May 31, 2022,
from 8:00 AM.
2. This activity aims to:
 promote an active lifestyle for Filipinos that will benefit both their physical and
socio-emotional well-being;
 improve strength, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, coordination,
and balance;
 enhance cultural awareness by integrating Philippine cultures in the
calisthenics exercises; and
 inculcate nationalism, unity, and discipline.

3. Participants in this activity are teaching and non-teaching personnel, pupils

and other school stakeholder, and parents.
4. Prompt dissemination of this memorandum is earnestly desired.
