AND The Graduates…. A pleasant afternoon to all.

I would like to focus my message on this year’s graduation theme, that is “pursuing dreams
and fostering resilience in the face of adversity”
In your young minds, my dear graduates you have to understand what the message calls for
all of us to do. You have your dreams and ambitions. Some of you hope to be a nurse,
others to be teachers, while some want to be policemen and engineers perhaps.. the list is
numerous. But then again, in your quest to be the person you want to become…there are
obstacles. Life sometimes doesn’t go along the way we planned it to be.
We encounter problems of all sorts. Remember this, trials in life may make or break us.
We , the ones ahead of you, who wants You to make it in life.. please listen to us. We have
travelled life and tasted the good and the bad, the bitter and the sweet. It is our task to
prepare you for that. Your teachers did their best to coach you and teach you life skills
alongside with your parents. Listen to them. They only want the best for you. When I say
listen, hear what they say and obey them. If you are familiar with this tagalog tagline from a
Father or Mother to their sons and daughters, “ Papunta ka pa lang, pabalik na ako”. This is
very true.
Above all, in going through life’s journey.. we should always look UP. There is someone out
there who is in control. When problems arise, seek God’s presence. When happy times are
here, thank God. And in everything , Give thanks.
On your graduation day my dearest LTIS batch 2022 , my warmest congratulations to you
and to your parents as well. Continue reaching for your dreams. Make your parents proud,
make your teachers proud too... and Me as your Punong Barangay ….proudest!
