Narrative

I started to plant the stem last April 24, 2022. Out of my curiosity, I tried to plant
and take care of it because my mom said that grape seed is sensitive. She said
that when the vines get broken, they won’t grow. Each day I still do not have its
own progress, my mom told me that grapes do not grow and develop easily it
takes time to grow so I need to wait.

Sharing of Experience
- Problems Encountered
I have experienced a lot of problems while doing community service in our
home. At first, I didn’t know how to start planting because I’m just a beginner my
negative mindset starts fighting like what if it won’t grow, what if I didn’t plant it
properly and etc. those are the what if’s that come to my mind. But out of
curiosity, I plant it without noticing what’s in my mind. Next, make sure to inspect
seed packets carefully to ensure that they will grow in your zone. Plants grown
outside of your zone must be brought indoors, in a greenhouse, or otherwise
protected during the winter. On the other hand, another problem is when plants
are getting too much water. Lastly, I had a problem transferring the plants to a
good place so that the stem can crawl properly so I ask help to my mom and she
transfer it to the place where the stem can crawl properly.

Impact
My experience in gardening is fun and inspiring. I realize that gardening is not
just about planting trees, or watering plants, because, in reality, it’s about our
new experiences and help in our mother earth. Gardening is more than just a
pastime; it is a passion. Unfortunately, climate change is harming gardening
across the United States. Fortunately, even when gardening, you can take steps
to contribute to the issue. Despite the grave projections for climate change, it is
not unavoidable. While substantial consequences are expected, the effects will
be significantly reduced if we take immediate actions to limit carbon emissions.
We can also take steps to assist both natural and human groups in adapting to
the current changes.
