service is streamed live on Facebook and is then
archived for viewing on demand. Adult Sunday

Receptions, Graduations
The deacons held their regularly scheduled
meeting on May 3. A number of topics were
discussed, including finalizing our plans for the
Strawberry Social, which will be held in
conjunction with the church picnic on Sunday
June 5. There will be numerous ways in which
to eat your strawberry desserts, so please plan to
join us!
After holding several reception events recently, it
was decided to activate a team of church
individuals to determine exactly what items we
have at our disposal.  The team plans to do an
inventory of permanent items located at the

Food Pantry Donations
The Huntingdon Food Pantry is requesting tomato
soup for June. Donations can be dropped off at the
office or at the worship service on the last Sunday of
the month, June 26.
Worship Attendance
The average in-person worship attendance in April
was 55. Archived online Sunday services in April
received an average of 103 Facebook views.
Weekly Giving
Tithes and offerings through April totaled $63,967.20,
or an average of $3,763 a week. Primary fund giving
for 2022 is budgeted at $180,000, or an average of
$3,462 a week.
Per Capita Contributions
The per capita for 2022 is $34.25 per member, for a
total of $5,138. As of May 1, contributions totaled
$1,618.25. If able, please pay your per capita.

We discussed who will be graduating from high
school, college and getting advanced degrees,
and we'll follow up on that when we are sure that
our list is complete. So if you know of someone in
this category, please let us know.  Our list
includes:  Amanda Bland, Abigail Goodman,
Alexis Ritchey and Heather Beckwith.
It was also discussed that “Cookies for
Caregivers” is always looking for new bakers. If
you wish to volunteer as an individual or a group
(three or four people baking together), you can
find information online or contact Jeremy Ulrich
or Scott McKenzie, organization co-founders.
Pastor Hoover reminded us that we will be
receiving regular communion on June 5; the
deacons will be baking the bread to be used..   Copies of HPC’s policy for conducting Christian

Boomerang Bottles Due June 19
The collection day for Baby Bottle Boomerang
donations benefitting the Crossroads Pregnancy
Center is Father’s Day, June 19. Bottles were
available at churches throughout the area
beginning on Mother’s Day, May 8. Congregants
were asked to take the bottles home and fill them
with loose change, bills or checks. Crossroads
operates four facilities serving Huntingdon,
Mifflin and Juniata counties.
