Appeal to Ignorance H.W 9/25/17

Bob: Hey James, check out this ad.

James: Sure, why not?

Bob: It says you should invest in their space research because there are aliens and they're going

to destroy our planet in the near centuries, and that there's no proof, buuut, it’s always good to

invest in the future.

James:... Bob… are you dumb enough to believe that argument. Can this even convince

anyone!??

Bob: Hey man, do you have proof that there's no alien life forms? There's no proof that it isn’t

wrong. I don’t see why there couldn’t be any other living beings, space is suuuper big after all.

James: well I guess there are other planets suitable for life, but I’m pretty sure that there's no

scientific evidence for either sides.

Bob: Man you're bumming me out, let's just watch another channel.

James: Fine, oh let watch the nature channel.

Bob: Oh great, another unproven thing. “Scientists estimated squids can grow up to a mile in

length, they live so deep that our submarines can’t reach it without being crushed into a pulp.”

James: I give up, we’ll be sitting here forever, I could be doing so much.

Bob: Who are you kidding, you don’t have a life, nobody's expecting you to do anything.

James: C’mon you don’t have to rub it in. ;(

Bob: Yeah yeah, do you even care at this point.

James: Nope.
