BIT Mesra is proud to offer its Executive M. Tech in Computer Science with Specialization in Machine
Learning program to Cognizant associates under the Higher Education Partnership scheme. The
program has been specifically designed for working professionals to upgrade their technical skills and
expertise while augmenting their higher education profile. Our innovative teaching methodology,
industry-relevant content, and hands-on approach to learning have been designed to keep in mind
industry practices and allow the participants to stay relevant in their field of work.

Why is the course unique?

With experience in offering Post Graduate courses of more than two decades and an alumni base
spread across numerous countries, we understand the industry's needs. We have utilized this
experience to develop a unique course structure that shall lead the participant from the fundamentals
to the cutting edge of modern Machine Learning techniques. Each course would add to the
participant's repertoire in terms of theoretical knowledge and her/his practical capabilities. By
carefully focussing on the content of each class, we ensure the participant shall gain a firm
understanding of the whys and hows of modern machine learning,

What does the course offer?

The courses under the program can be broadly classified into three categories.

1. Core courses - refresh the participant's knowledge of some of the basic tenets of computer
science.
2. Specialization courses – covering the entire range of machine learning.
3. Program electives – a curated list of advanced courses chosen by the participants according
to their aptitude.

Who is eligible?

Any associate of Cognizant India, with an engineering degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or allied branches e.g., Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and
Communication Engineering, and/or as per the nominations from Cognizant India.

How is the program offered?

The program has been designed as a 12–14-week capsule offered on weekends. The course shall be
delivered as a mix of online classes (both regular and flipped) and hands on sessions
