It's a busy time for MCU fans as Doctor Strange

in the Multiverse of Madness has landed in
cinemas and Moon Knight has just wrapped its
first season on Disney+.

Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has

now slowed down since the release of
WandaVision last year. Fortunately it's been
fairly straightforward timeline-wise if you wanted
to make sure you were watching in
chronological order. (Well, except for Loki, but
we'll get to that.)

Moon Knight doesn't really have a set place in

the timeline (even its writer doesn't know), but
Disney place it after Hawkeye so that's early
2025, MCU-wise. It's similar for Doctor Strange
2 as we know it's a few months after Spider-
Man: No Way Home, so we've put it after Moon
Knight for now.

With so much going on in Phase 4, it can get a

bit confusing, so that's why we're here to help
with a definitive guide to watching the MCU in
chronological order, if that's what you wish to
do.

SIGN UP TO DISNEY+ TO WATCH THE MCU

We suggest watching Loki after Avengers:

Endgame (as that's when 2012's Loki breaks off
into his own timeline) and What If...? after Loki,
as that's the show that introduces the
multiverse. But what about everything else in
the MCU?

One note on our timeline: if something takes

place in multiple time periods (such as
Eternals), we've put it where the bulk of the
movie or TV show takes place.

There are slight exceptions you might want to

take, such as not watching the Ant-Man and
The Wasp credits scene until after Avengers:
Infinity War, but it just depends on how
dedicated you are to the order.

And don't even get us started on Agents of

SHIELD's final season which mostly took place
in an alternate timeline, before eventually
merging back with the main MCU timeline. So
for the sake of ease, just watch it all after
season six and it'll make as much sense.
