Answer 1.
Yes, I agree with the given statement. Let us explore LSRW in depth.

LSRW is an abbreviation for listening, speaking, reading and writing.

LSRW skills are essential for effective communication. These four skills
together form the basis of proper message transmission and processing in
an organizational set-up.

LSRW skills are necessary for communication in any environment. Poor

LSRW skills and the lack of the same could result in inefficient
communication. For example, the lack of the ability to hear properly in
turn causes communication to be distorted as it creates a problem in
understanding heard information and making it listened or, in another
case the inability to present notices in a crowd in the form of a speech
due to the presence of stage fright can create a barrier to communication.
Inability to process input or output information or the ability to attribute
personal meaning to symbols or registered information often causes one’s
LSRW skills to be distorted and the communication to be improperly
executed.

Lack of effective LSRW skills lead to the wastage of time in most cases
due to improper communication rendering current progress behind
schedule and thus lower productivity. It is a setback and leads to a lot of
missed opportunities in scenarios where one failed to properly execute
commands that required proper LSRW skills and thus, is left behind in
comparison to their peers. For example, the inability to carry out tasks
that require confident, well structured and eloquent speech and writing
hinder one from further promotion or progress in an organizational set-up
and lead to feeling inferiority among peers.
Therefore, LSRW skills are fundamental and vital to survival in all aspects
that require communication.
Answer 2.

There are two basic modes of communication. They are:

 verbal communication
 non verbal communication

Verbal communication refers to the usage of words to convey a message

or facilitate communication. It can be spoken or written. For example –
the communication of letters from person A to person B is an example of
verbal communication. Verbal communication is universal and there are
many routes to expressing or transmitting a message in this mode of
communication. It is best suited for formal communication. For example –
the preparation of properly drafted notices and presentations are a
requisite in organizational activities.

Non verbal communication refers to the mode of communication that

excludes the usage of words for the conveying of a message. Simple
actions or gestures form non verbal cues that facilitate communication
without the usage of words. For example – a knock on the door for the
other person to open the door, poking a sleeping person to wake them up
etc. It is to carry out simple tasks that non verbal communication is
required where body language and actions play a bigger role in effective
communication. It is best suited for informal communication. The analysis
of body language helps in organizational set-ups to evaluate the nature of
a person whether they are assertive or not or well suited for leadership
etc.

Answer 4.

Once, a girl named Ariana lived in a village named Sambhalwadi. She was
wandering in the town alone. She came across someone’s house and saw
deliciously ripe mangoes hanging off the branches off a tree in the garden
of the house. Not feeling guilty about committing such a task, she leapt
into the garden to steal a mango. It was illegal to steal and judgement
would hold her liable but she had no such care.

Mr Sharma caught the young juvenile girl and smiled. He found it only
innocent and endearing for such a girl to covet something so appetizing.
Thus, he offered her a mango, however he told her not to steal again and
prompted her about the consequences. She promised him that she
wouldn’t and thus parted the house with a smile.
