2.0 RATIONALE
The National Achievement Test is always administered every year, being the
source of knowing how far the pupils have learned in the different skills/competencies
being taught.
However, results of the NAT need to be improved because it is low and dragging to
reach the goal of at least 75-80%.
It is on this point of interest that this project proposal of having an intensive review
has been conceptualized and requested in order for our client to reach the passing mark and
good result.

3.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This proposed project is an intensive NAT review for the Grade Three and Six. This project is
designed to improve the performance of National Achievement Test. The least mastered competencies are
being identified and to be focused on the review proper. This project involves coordination of other
teachers to tackle on his/her expertise topics and to catch pupils’ interest of having new faces, techniques
and strategies of its implementation.

4.0 STRATEGY:
The proposed project of NAT intensive review is to be financed personally, donations and
solicitations.
The project implementation shall be done in three stages namely (1) Pre- Testing , (2)
Actual Review, (3) Post Testing. First stage involves the identification of the least mastered
skills/competencies and prepares pre-testing tools. Once the least mastered skills/competencies are
identified, actual follows in coordination with teachers of other schools.
The third stage of the project shall be the conduct of monitoring and evaluation as to
ascertain the impact of the project. The monitoring and evaluation shall be done jointly by the
principal and teachers concerned on this project.

5.0 BUDGETTARY REQUIREMENTS

The total Project Cost: Php 1,550.00

Testing Materials: Php 250.00
Snacks for Pupils: Php 1, 330.00
Fare for resource person: Php 50.00
Total Php 1,550.00
6.0 TIME FRAME

The NAT Intensive review shall be done two months prior to the test. The time frames of activities are as
follows.

ACTIVITIES IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD

1. Pre- Testing 1 Day

2. Actual Review 3:30 – 5:00 PM every Friday starting January 24, 2013 to March 7, 2013
3. Post Testing 1 day

7.0 PROJECT OUTPUTS:

This NAT Intensive Review will definitely increase the result of the incoming NAT comes March 2013.

8.0 IMPACT ASSESSMENT:

This proposed project is expected to produce positive impact in the skills and competencies of pupils.

9.0 MONITORING and EVALUATION

A program for monitoring and evaluation of the project as to how the project provides benefit to
the pupils shall be done jointly by the principal and teachers of Sergio Mata Elementary School.
