Table tennis is an interesting sport usually played by teams of either on or two players.

The sport is played by use of

hitting a ball across a net suspended across a table. In order for one to be successful in table tennis, the game demands
exceptional physical and mental preparedness before matches.

The table serves as the playing surface hereby referred to as the court.

The bat — also known as the ‘paddle’ or ‘racket’ — is the most vital piece of equipment for every aspiring table
tennis expert. It’s crucial that you realize the role your table tennis bat plays in your development as a player, as well
as the importance of maintaining it for both training and matches.

One of the most crucial table tennis equipment to play a ping pong table game is the ball. Ping
pong table ball is made with celluloid or another plastic. The celluloid composes of nitrocellulose
and camphor that is produced in a sheet and soaked in a hot alcohol solution until it is soft and
easy to play with.
Another essential type of table tennis equipment is the net and post. Although these units enjoy
little or no attention, a ping pong game cannot be played without the availability of these units.
Using the best equipment goes for almost anything. The same principle applies in table tennis — so long as you
know what really defines an ‘upgrade’. Like all other racket sports, the standard of equipment vastly ranges. The
problem is, to novice table tennis players, the poorest quality (premade) bats look very similar in appearance to other
better quality bats. In other words, it’s all too easy to make a wrong turn and wind up playing with a table tennis bat
that doesn’t enable you to realise your true potential. Poor quality rubbers and blades will hinder your ability to
execute intricate shots, and stunt your development as a player.

Table tennis is sport where precision means everything. The smallest of margins can be the difference between
success and failure — so it’s pivotal that you use a high quality bat where you’re well-equipped to master the basic
techniques and strokes. Along with sustained practice, this will give you the best chance of improving your
performance in tournaments.

Also, It’s important to keep your pingpong equipments clean and properly maintained in order to experience the
most successful play.

Wipe down the table with a soft, dry cloth after each use. This regular maintenance will keep the table clean and free
of debris under most circumstances. Create a nonabrasive, non-toxic cleaner with which to perform a more in-depth
cleaning once every two to three months.

For the racket, The standard method used to clean it using a sponge. There are many sponge brands available, some
especially for cleaning ping pong rackets. Tests performed have proven that there’s no difference between all of
them. To clean, damp the sponge in warm water and rub the rubber’s surface gently, not to damage it. You can use a
bit of detergent in the water, but do not exaggerate as you may damage the rubber and the glue.

or you to clean your table tennis balls without causing damage, you need to get a tissue or cotton to softly brush the
ping pong balls.  Get a baking soda and use the cotton or tissue to touch the baking soda and then softly clean the
balls with it.

It`s best to use baking soda to clean your table tennis balls because baking soda restores the grip of the ball.
