OBSERVATIONS:

By observing the map alone, I noticed that:

1. The Oceania region has lots of small islands and only one massive island which is the
Australia can be seen. Because of this, I can say that the Oceania region is surrounded
by large bodies of water.
2. Just like the Oceania region, the Southeast Asia region is also composed of lots of
islands, however, it is much bigger compared to the Oceania. The Northern part of the
SEA belonged to a large land mass, while the Southern part of SEA is mostly composed
of islands or scattered countries.
3. The boundary between Southeast Asia and Oceania can be seen in the middle of a large
land mass where a part of Indonesia (SEA) and Papua New Guinea (Oceania) can be
seen. Thus, not just two countries shared that land mass, but two regions as well.
