Reaction Paper: CNN Philippines Presents: Kain Na!

Three Filipino-American chefs embark on a culinary tour in the Philippines in order to


rediscover their roots and promote more Filipino cuisine to the rest of the world. It is nice that
they sharing, inviting, bonding, and be together. And it explained that the Filipino food is already
Filipino Tourism and not just promoting the country but they wants to promote our food.

DOT Secretary Berna Puyat want these famous Pinoy-American chefs to discover local Pinoy
ingriendients, and learn the rich taste of the Philippine cuisine.

The Philippine cuisine is a cuisine of sharing because Filipino “kasabihan” If you can shake a
farmer's hand and dine with him, you've had the opportunity to learn about what you eat, who
you eat for, and what it means to your soul. It's truly all about sharing it with the person who
made it, ate it, and cultivated it.
