1. BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

This project aims to protect and value our environment and natural
resources. The San Juan Municipal Police Station embraces this project for
cleaner and greener surroundings for it can change lives and help build a
safer nation.

2. What are the specific needs, issues or problems being addressed

by the project?

At present and the real situation of our environment are dangerous and
is going to much worst condition day by day as we use our natural resources
indiscriminately and fail to manage are waste. Because of this the SJMPS
personnel will start first at the station by making a small garden in front of the
station and in every Police Assistant Center (PAC) and will make the work
place clean and green.

The personnel of this station will conduct clean-up drive and tree
planting every month in places within the aor. During each tree-planting
activity, experts from Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office
will give lectures to those who joined the tree planting and also for the
community nearby the area, on the value of caring for one’s environment and
how to protect and care even in small ways.

This plan was formulated by this station for a greener work place and a
greener community. The station will start at the work place by maintaining the
cleanliness of the station and all PAC and making it greener by making a
small garden. The SJMPS will help protect the environment by conducting

each tree-planting activity, experts from Municipal Environment and Natural
Resources Office will give lectures to those who joined the tree planting and
also for the community nearby the area, on the value of caring for one’s
environment and how to protect and care even in small ways. In partnership
of San Juan Local Government, Municipal Environment and Natural
Resources Office (MENRO), Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) the San Juan
MPS will work hand in hand for a cleaner and greener environment.
 The MENRO will help to determine the places where the activities will
be conducted and also give lectures to those who joined the tree planting and
also for the community nearby the area, on the value of caring for one’s
environment and how to protect and care even in small ways. The San Juan
Local Government will help the station for the funding and other logistical
resources. The MAO will provide seedlings needed for the tree planting.

COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS:
