EXPERIMENT NO. 1 T. Aim: To verify Kirchhoff’ Current Law (KCL) and Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law (KVL) Apparatus Required: 1, AC. Ammeter- 3nos. (0-10 amp) 2. AC Voltmeter - 3 nos. (0-300 V) 3. Rheostat 4. Inductive Load 5. Connecting wires Circuit Diagram: KCL 0-15 amp ©) BoP a) O1damp (A3) 0-10 amp ee L I ae wON D D TS "ep . % aS me) 0-300 0-300 SA B> 0-300 BON Theor Procedure: KCL: 1 2. 3 First measure the least count of all ammeters Ay, Ao, and As and all voltmeters Vi, V2 and Vs Connect the circuit as shown in the diagram Now, vary both the resistive and inductive load to obtain different readings of ammeters Ay, Ar and Ag and voltmeters Vi, V2 and Vs. Repeat the same procedure for different observations Calculate percentage error. 1. Conne: the circuit as shown in the diagram Now, adjust both the sheostat and inductive load to obtain different values of then take Vi, Va and Vs 3. Repeat the same procedure for different observations 4. Calculate percentage error. Observation Table: SINo. | Vin (Volts) Trin (Volts) Vyin (Volts) % Error SENo. | Arin (Volts) Fain (Volts) As in (Volts) % Error Precautions: 1. Make the connections properly. 2. Note the readings of voltmeters and ammeters properly. % Error 3. Remove insulations from the connecting wire so as the current will flow properly 4. Avoid loos: nnections and don’t touch wire with wet hand,
