ACTIVITY 7- IT’S ALL ABOUT PACKAGING

The product is place in a transparent plastic container with the brand name of the product.
Materials used for packaging are tape, printed brand name and ribbon that will make it more
presentable.

TRES MARIAS’ FUDGEE CAKE

I. Executive Summary
Tres Marias’ Fudgee Cake is a homemade product by Ms. Janeth Esconde, Ms. Kylle
Bridgette Dingding and Ms. Jessica Jean Alacapa with its primary goal to create something
extraordinary from ordinary foods. They will be introducing a new and sweet creamy cake with no
baking method used. A product that offers a variety of choices for costumer taste and preferences. A
cake with a twist, it will give the sweet and creamy taste with a mix of coffee that makes it more
unique and appealing to eat. They also offer discounts to the quantity of orders, available via text
messages, calls and messages through their official face book account for orders and inquires. Aside
from unique taste the payment method is also different, either you pay in cash on delivery, G-cash,
and bank transfer given for costumers preferred and advantages. Open for service delivery in any
convenient time and place.

promotion. And word referrals from friends to friends, spreading the feedback from the first
costumers.

Packaging: Ms. Janeth Esconde made sure that the product is free from any parasites. The product is
sealed and safe. Is it place in a transparent plastic container with the brand name of the product.
Materials used for packaging are tape, printed brand name and ribbon that will make it more
presentable.

Process: The product is made sure to be consumable with in three (3) days after the process. And
safe for any moist, parasites etc.

Ingredients:

Kremdensada (mix condensed and evaporated milk in a can)

Step 1: Slice the fudge bar and place in the transparent plastic container.

Step 2: Whip the kremdensada using a wire whisk until desired consistency or it becomes
foamy.

Step 3: Split the kremdensada evenly. Put it in two different bowls.

Step 4: Add coffee to the other half or the other bowl of the milk. Then whip until the coffee mixes
the kremdensada milk.

Step 5: Layer the fudge bar cake with plain kremdensada and dalgona mixture(coffee and
kremdensada milk)in an alternate pattern.

Step 6: Garnish using any tools you like it might be with spoon.

Step 7: Chill or freeze the container with at least 5 hours before serving or delivering.

The distribution channel of the product is direct since it will be delivered directly to the
costumers carried by the man in charged in delivery.

All at a preferred and more convenient to the costumer.

The supplies for production will come from the local market in Salug, Zamboanga Del Norte
which is 5 km away from the manufacturer location. Such as plastic container, fudge bar,
kremdensada and ribbons.

B. Logistics

The product is done with high cleanliness and hygiene to all operational staff. It was chilled
for the given time to have a perfect chilly cake. The mixture of the ingredients is with the use of wire
whisk to achieve the perfect blend of the coffee and kremdensada. And made sure that it can still be
consumable three (3) days after the process. The sealing of the product is to made sure that there are
no parasites can enter.

XV. Conclusions and Recommendations

The costumers would like to prefer new products, with the best quality and services. They
tend to buy foods that give more advantage to them. In purchasing the product before the quality
comes, the price is the first concerns they buy products with a less price and feed backs of the first
costumer to test the validity of a product.

With this matter, Tres Marias’ Fudgee Cake will offer the product that doesn’t just focus on
the taste and quality but offer foods at a lowerprice. Lower the cost in production to avoid the
increase of the product. Will innovate products in a semi-annual duration, produce variety of
products to obtained and gain costumers. Improved more the promotion of the products that includes
showing first hand costumers’ satisfaction and feedbacks. Will improved it sales and promotion, as
well as the product as the competition of food industry is increasing.
