Subject: - Birlites’ Expressions - School Magazine, 2022, Invitation to Students of Grade to Grade XI, We are very much pleased to inform you that the school magazine, “Birlites’ Expressions’ is scheduled to be released in the month of November 2022 . In connection with this, we would like you to encourage your child to contribute his / her original works to make the magazine a repository of creative thoughts and artistic excellence! Here are the guidelines for the students’ contributions: 1. Students contributions can be their Original literary works in English, or languages given below: a 2. ArtWork: rremepos Hindi Malayalam Telugu Tamil Sanskrit Arabic Urdu French German ainting, Pencil Drawing or Pen Work. Please make sure your child goes through the following instructions carefully: 1, The student shall not borrow from any source or books. The contribution must be original. 2. Every contribution should have a title. 3._ All the English articles must be typed in MS Word and follow the specifications of font Andalus for title, with 14 size, and Ariel, with size 12, for the content. 4. The recent stamp size colour photograph, in school uniform with white background, should be pasted on the top right corner(while submitting the hard copy & soft copy) along with the Bonafide certificate from the parent, endorsing that the contribution is the original work of the student. (Model is attached at the end of this circular). Plagiarism of any kind, whether accidental or intentional, will _not_be accepted. Content will be checked and scrutinize through ‘Turnitin Plagiarism Checker5. Name of the student, Admission number, class and division must be clearly mentioned parallel to the Title, on the top left corner of the work. 6. The student should submit as well as email the English articles only to the respective English Teacher. 7. Articles of all other languages must be submitted and emailed to the respective Language teacher, following all the above directives. 8. Contributions in Art must be submitted to the respective art teacher of the grade. Students are required to adhere to the following instructions: a. Art Work should be done in A3 Or Ad Size WHITE GOOD QUALITY CHART PAPER b. Students will not be given their work back. Students can submit only one work (Painting, Pencil Drawing or Pen work). 4. Work done with the help of the parent will not be accepted, e. Work should be neat and tidy. f. Every work should have a title. The last date for submitting, i. the contribution with Name, Admission number, Class & Division, ii, stamp size photograph and iii. bona fide certificate to the English teacher or respective language/art teacher is on or before Tuesday 30! August, 2022, Late submission will not be entertained. 9. ‘Cover Page contest’ Terms and Conditions: * Theme: ‘Champions of Change’ Send your creations in A4 size to sreejithc@bpsdoha.edu.ga on or before Tuesday, 30% August 2020. Scanned copies of Cover Page Design /Painting should be in JPEG or PDF format. Draw or create a design. (Can use designing softwares like Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign etc.) Online designs and Designs using Mobile applications are not acceptable. * Should submit the original editable file if selected.
