 INTRODUCTION

There are many online games nowadays, people tend to play these games
beacuse it is more convenient than playing physical games. Mobile legend is the most
popular games at the present time. Mobile Legend is a mobile multiplayer online battle
(MOBA) game realesed last 2016.
The researcher choose this topic because within their community, there are many
students who were addicted to this online game. As observed, most of them played
more time on playing games than helping in their daily chores. Most number of students
confirm that they play mobile legend. This gives the researchers the will to identify on
what is the positive and negative effects of playing mobile games.
The researcher aims to help the students, parents and also the community to
understand more on how to understand the effects either positive or negative on playing
this mobile game. This research will give also examples of the worse scenarios that will
happens to the students who were already addicted on playing mobile legend.

RESEARCH BODY

The first topic to be discuss is the positive effects of playing mobile legend to the

No wonder that gaming has increased its impact since last decade. Commuters
are switching from reading book or magazine to playing games. A recent study says
that a quarter of all commuters aged 16 to 24 years are playing games. Mobile gaming
has become mainstream among the young generation these days. It has been seen that
students are opting for computing for their higher education. Gaming has a positive
impact on students learning and a study says that it also has a positive effect on overall
education.
Positive effect on kids

Mobile gaming has a positive effect on kids which includes classroom engagement,
enhances study habits, students grasping power and their test scores. Also, there are
various mobile games that help them to understand many subject related topics. This
makes learning a fun and interesting thing to do for the kids.

Helping to improve health problems

It’s hard to understand but gaming is helping to fight certain health problems. In a
Children’s National Health System in the District of Columbia are using games to tackle
diseases like sickle cell disease. The faculty also programs games that fight memory
loss which can be a symptom of sickle cell disease.

Good for the brain

It’s said that many video games are good for the brain. A research conducted by
the German researchers’ shows that people who play games for 30 minutes a day
gained positive impacts on brain including memory formation, fine motor skills, spatial
navigation, strategic planning and fine motor skills. All these areas positively affect the
brain. Also, fast-paced games promoted better learning and memory retention.

The next topic to be discuss is the negative effect of playing mobile legends to the
students.

Addictive or Addicted

First is addiction, once you play you will continue to play it again. If this continues,
then you will be addicted to playing Mobile Legends. The problem of addiction to playing
Mobile Legends cannot be taken lightly, because after you play once, you will keep
playing again until you lose track of time.

Spend money

The next negative impact of playing Mobile Legends is that it is wasteful. You will
tend to spend money to top up this one game. Actually, it’s not only Mobile Legends
games, you might also do this problem in other games where the game has made you
interested in buying in-game items.

Easy Emotion

The next negative impact is easy to get emotional. This has become one of the
things that often happens to Mobile Legends players. This is what makes this game
community have a lot of Toxic players, which is toxic because many players are easily
emotional. So that this happens in the Mobile Legends game which makes the players
easily emotional which of course is a negative impact of playing Mobile Legends.

Irregular Sleep

The last is the negative impact of Mobile Legends and makes sleep irregular.
Usually the players play this game before going to sleep.Exactly 7 to 10 o’clock is the
most widely used time to play Mobile Legends, as a result, due to smartphone screen
radiation caused by playing games, it is difficult for players to sleep. As a result, many
Mobile Legends players stay up late to play until late at night, and not a few also do not
sleep until morning.

 CONCLUSION

In every things that we do, there must be discipline and limitations. If we follow
this rule, it will give positive effects to us.. Playing mobile games is good, if we play it
moderately. This will help students to relax, enjoy their youth and to have interaction
with others. They will also be trained to express their ideas, knowledge and skills, which
can be developed using mobile games.
On the other hand, is the students will abuse their body in playing mobile games,
this will harm them and will also put them into addiction. Parents should also supervise
their children in playing games online. This will help both students and their parents to
have a good relationship.
To the students, education should be our priorities. Playing games only comes
after we finish our school works and house chores. We must strive harder in our
academic performance, not in the online games only. This will be ne our help to our
parents if we finish our studies and make them proud.
