Effective Leadership

Effective leadership abilities are in high demand within all

occupations. Advancement opportunities are usually in store for
those who display such traits, as those who can lead are vital for
personal and company growth. A person who stands out as
having leadership skills has an ability to bring out the best traits
in another person, which leads to stronger bonds within a
company as well. Leaders have an uncanny ability in realizing
that most problems are not simply solved overnight, and yet
approach the problem with a level of optimism that instills
confidence in others. (2022) Leaders can guide and motivate
fellow employees, while not taking over a project and still
allowing for the employee to feel a sense of accomplishment,
and pride. A person with a strong leadership ability uses clear
and concise language and understands the value of both to meet
a goal. Strong leaders have a level of confidence and self-control
they can execute, without boasting or coming off as a person full
of arrogance. An effective leader can direct another person,
without leaving that person feeling they have been inadequate in
fulfilling the duties left to them. Another characteristic of a
leader that is vital is having the ability to admit when they have
made a mistake.

Understanding that in the context seems a bit of a stretch when I

say I see Donald Trump has an effective leader. While he has
not ever been what one would consider an eloquent speaker, by
any means, he carries a tone that compels one to listen. Many
people judge him by the fact that he is not polished in his
wordage, but I consider the fact he was a leader in the
development and construction business, long before he was
elected as the President of these Great United States. While he
was never a politician by nature, while he was in office, our
country had the lowest unemployment rates of the last 50 years,
and for African Americans, the lowest unemployment rates-
EVER. (2020)
When the Coronavirus came to be, Mr. Trump acted quickly in
shutting down flights, and was condemned as racist for doing so,
when in effect, I believe, he saved at smallest thousands of lives.
Throughout his presidency, he was handed false information,
inadequate findings, and consistently spoke badly of. No other
President in my time, was considered such an extreme success,
until he stepped up for the hardest job in the world. Trump had
everything he could ever want or need, a beautiful wife, multiple
successful careers, successful children. There was no need for
him to take this occupation on something that he was completely
unfamiliar with, knew that people

would not agree with his “every whim” as one would say, if he
was the arrogant, narcissist he has since been made out to be. I
could go on, but, I believe, he was more than effective as a
leader, and our country needs someone of this caliber back in the
office.
