take a city tour.

We start the trip by these famous places: Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by
exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum. (Drop you off at Ben Thanh Market for
shopping if we have enough time).

After breakfast at hotel, leave Ho Chi Minh for Ben Tre. Take a boat trip on Mekong river to a family business which epitomizes the idyllic
rural lifestyle, walking through the fruit plantation village.

Around 6.30am, we pick you up to visit the Cai Rang floating market which is wholesale market of fruit and vegetable at its busiest at this
time of the day. Keep cruising through the small channels system and visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the “Monkey Bridge” in
the Delta.

Afternoon, leave the city for Cu Chi. Explore the Cu Chi Tunnel. After the tour, we transfer you to Tan Son Nhat airport for your departure
flight.

City Tour

02:15 PM Departing from TheSinhTourist Office (246 De Tham St, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). 

Visiting the War Remnants Museum - originally opened in September 1975, it displays old military equipment and other related items from
Vietnam War. Afterward, continuing to visit the Reunification Palace, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. The place symbolizes the
end of Vietnam War when a North Vietnamese army tank went through its gates. Then taking a short  stroll to see Notre Dame
Cathedral and General Post Office, they are the beautiful examples of architecture from the French colonial period.

The tour ends around 5:00PM at TheSinhTourist Office.

08:45AM Depart from TheSinhTourist Office to Giac Lam pagoda built in the 17th century and is one of the oldest temples in the city. Then
visiting Chinatown, Cho Lon (Binh Tay) market, not only seeing the locals bartering, purchasing and selling merchandises at the market but
also seeing a rich and diverse Chinese culture that is subtle yet distinctive from other parts of the city. Stopping at Thien Hau Lady temple
that was built in the early 19th century dedicated to Thien Hau - Goddess of seafarers. Travelling along the Saigon Riverside to
overview Nha Rong wharf where Ho Chi Minh President first left Vietnam in 1911. Returning back to TheSinhTourist officeand has free time
for lunch at own expense.

07:15AM Depart for Cu Chi tunnels from TheSinhTourist office.  

Around 9:30AM Arriving at Cu Chi tunnels (Ben Dinh) and proceeding to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about
Cu Chi tunnels before having a real hand-on experience of what it took to live in the tunnels. Afterward, test tasting the steamed tapioca root
which is the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war. For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real
ammunitions at the nearby shooting range. Leaving Cu Chi tunnels at noon and returning back to HCM city for lunch at own expense.

07:00AM Departing from TheSinhTourist office to Cai Be by air-conditioned bus (about 100km). 


Taking a boat trip to discover the beauty of Cai Be floating market where local people sell, buy and exchange goods on their boats. Then,
going on to a local village and visiting a local workshop, there are things to see such as  rice paper making and coconut candy producing
process. Enjoying free sample of local specialties and discovering daily activities of local people.

Around 12:00PM lunch is served at a restaurant by the river and enjoying Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form
from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as 
Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) at the same time. After lunch, taking a boat ride along the Mekong river to Vinh Long - the center of
tropical fruits in the Mekong Delta and 
stopping for a short visit at Vinh Long market. Then, going across the My Thuan suspension bridge and taking a short break at Mekong
Rest Stop & returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

8:15AM Departing from TheSinhTourist office for My Tho city by air-conditioned bus. In My Tho, boarding the motorboat at a pier and
cruising on the Mekong River. Here, overlooking floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house (viewing from the motorboat).
Continuing the journey on the river until reaching Cồn Thới Sơn (Unicorn Island), from here taking a horse cart to reach a performance site
where Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible
Cultural Heritage of Humanity) can be heard and seasonal tropical fruit can be tasted (included).
Afterward, being on a small hand-rowing boat (the main mean of transportation in My Tho & Ben Tre) and slowly cruising through a small
creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives from both sides of the creek can be observed.
Before heading to lunch, passing through bee-keeping farm and enjoying honey tea, a typical Mekong housecan be viewed here. Then, it
is lunch time after a short walk.
After lunch, boarding the motorboat and heading to learn coconut candies making process from a workshop. Sample of candies can be
tasted.
03:00PM Returning back to bus and going back to Ho Chi Minh City.
