Computers have long been a vital tool for making various jobs easier. As a student, I
was fortunate enough to attend a school where computer programming was the primary
focus of our TLE class, and we were taught everything from the fundamentals to the
programming topic. I also completed Cristal E's summer programming school, where I
learned more about programming and improved my typing abilities through various
typing assessments and coding. Because of those wholesome experiences, it equipped
me in becoming a computer literate individual, which has proven to be extremely
beneficial in my day-to-day life and in the future.
Becoming a proficient computer user involves a thorough understanding of basic computer
skills such as word processing, managing computer files, and creating presentations, as well as
advanced computer skills such as database management and spreadsheet calculation. Despite
my experience, I am mindful that I still have a lot to learn and accomplish in order to become a
skilled computer user. To begin, I need to refresh my knowledge of the basics, such as keyboard
shortcuts and controls, as this will aid in faster documentation, which is critical for patient data
and monitoring. In addition, I need to keep learning the controls and functions of each
application so that there are no troubles during the creation process. Furthermore, any
computer work assigned must be approached with an open mind and preparedness. As what
our professor has emphasized, "Becoming a computer competent individual begins with you.
When you can't see the amazing world that exists within it, instructors are useless. Only then
that you will be able to explore and see a different universe the moment you recognize its
beauty."

Over the years, I have remained enthralled by the world of computer technology, and
it's been a valuable ally in pursuing my aspirations. As a consequence, unlike when I initially
started using a computer, I have overcome my nervousness and dread. Because we now live in
a technology - based society where computers play an important role in our daily lives,
cyberphobia should not be treated lightly. According to the results of my P.A.T.C.H. Assessment
Scale, I am one of the fortunate people who are confident in their ability to use a variety of
computer programs, who are enthusiastic about the potential of computer use in healthcare,
and who see computers as beneficial to society's development. As a response, I wish to assist
others who need support in any way I can. In this way, it would be a delight to help each other
become proficient computer users with a positive view of the technology's possibilities in
healthcare.
