Re: Withdrawal of Bancassurance Product (PNB- Oriental Royal Mediclaim-2017

and OBC-Oriental Mediclaim Policy-2017) w.e.f. 01st June 2021

It is to bring to the notice of all our policyholders insured under our Bancassurance
Product (PNB- Oriental Royal Mediclaim-2017 and OBC-Oriental Mediclaim Policy-2017)
that these products are being withdrawn by The Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. with
effect from 1st June 2021.

1. No Fresh Bancassurance Products shall be issued w.e.f. 01st June 2021 from all
channels.
2. Migration facility will be available from withdrawn Bancassurance Products to our
available health insurance retail products i.e. Happy Family Floater Policy-2015,
Mediclaim Policy-Individual and Arogya Sanjeevani Policy w.e.f. 01st June 2021,
subject to the migration option is availed before expiry of the policy without any break.

3. The facility of renewal of the policies falling due effective from 01.06.2021 to
29.08.2021 (90 days from the date of withdrawal) will be kept open so that whoever
wants to continue the policy could do so for another one year after which he/she will
have to migrate to available retail products only.
Please be noted that this option of allowing the renewal to the existing customers of
the withdrawn Health Insurance Policy shall be a onetime option to be provided only in
the immediate renewal due date that falls within 90 days from the date of the
withdrawal of a product.
4. No renewal facility will be available for renewals due from 30th August 2021 through
Offline/Online.
5. Please update your contact details viz Mobile numbers, e-mail, and address of
correspondence with policy issuing office for seamless communication from us.
