business and industries are availing themselves of the use of data scientist in data science. It won't be
wrong to assume that in a few more years, the role played by human in decision-making process will
become restricted by strictly picking out the best options from a set of output generated by a
computers. During my undergraduate, I became happy and interested by the bounding creative
possibilities of this career and I believe Masters program in Data Science will enable me to embrace a
gratifying professional as a data scientist.

I graduated in computer science from lagos state university, the course has taught me some important
things of great value with a solid foundational knowledge in data structure and algorithms,
programming, database management system, data security, fundamental of digital electronics and so on
but I was moved by my passion for learning I tried to dip my toe to wide variety of topics that are not
part of the curriculum and most of the aspect that driven my attention to computer science is that you
can apply the theories and knowledge you acquire to create something of great value that will influence
or something the entire world will benefit from it. My excellent performance during high school in
academics has encouraged me to choose science as my major because I had a strong natural tendency
for mathematics and science which reflected from my results as I am one of the best in my class and this
has earn more recognitions from principal and to the entire student and because of my ability to solve
complex mathematics question, I always represent my school in inter school competition and all this
effort and hard work got me admission into my undergraduate study at lagos state university.i acquire
excellent foundation of computer science and it's fundamental knowledge has provide me with deep
knowledge and it has also exposed me to various aspect of the fields. During my project in final year at
my institution I got the opportunity to apply practical skills on air line ticket automation which was
basically the project that I choose and after completing my undergraduate studies I was fortunately to
got a job with a marketing and distribution company. I was employed as a record management officer
and I also help with issues that has to do information analysis in human resources department. I was
fortunate to meet a lots of fantastic and inspiring people and my first assignment is to create a strong
digital data request with a strong and strict compliance to rules and regulations provided by the
company and few years after my appointment, My job and responsibilities entails working with large
data sources to conduct risk analysis on Individual and the company proposal. I am still the child with a
curious mind and eager to learn and to take things next level and my daily routine has heightened my
knowledge to perform effectively and efficiently to execute and deliver my duties accordingly. Having
attend series of training and seminars in data management, data security and risk management and also
on big data technologies. To achieve and deliver the challenges of my daily routine duties and to
overcome these issue I have to pursue a masters program in Data science to rapt my knowledge to the
next level.
My past education and work experience has expand my knowledge spectrum that I need to search
deeper to have indepth understanding of what entails to become a data scientist and the domain to the
fullest. and during my research I found out that united kingdom are best interms of quality education
and by extension they provide great value to the employer. I would be able to learn global standards in
data utilization and become aware of the competition worldwide which will facilitate me to make a
significant contribution to the growth of my company and I have done enough research and discussion
with experts and friends before taking this decision of masters program in data science in the united
kingdom sand I am convinced that the program will prepare me for successful career growth in the field
of data science and I believe united kingdom universities offer more affordable tuition fee in regards to
those in australia and United States of america and I am also aware of the supportive policies put in
place by the government that are favourable to International student, welcoming policies and friendly
people. Am confident that data science courses in the university of aberdeen will help to increase my
knowledge and render my ability to achieve my long cherished aspiration. The scholarly professor and
