Title: HR Generalist

Job Summary: The HR Generalist position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees
and management in designated regions. The position serves as a consultant to management on human
resource-related issues. The successful HR Generalist acts as an employee champion and change agent. The
role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Need to proactively communicate with our People
department and business management, the HR Generalist seeks to develop integrated solutions. The position
formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees
that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The position may include international human
resource responsibilities. The HR Generalist maintains an effective level of business literacy about the
business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. 

  
Worksite Location: Houston ,TX ( Should be local to Houston, TX or willing to relocate to
Houston,TX)
Travel Percentage:  0-10%
 

Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with

 Regularly attends meetings with respective business unit leaders / associates to address HR-related
initiatives, progress, and concerns.
 Contribute to Talent Acquisition efforts for hiring A Players for the company (Including Sourcing,
Interviewing and Assessing Candidates). 
 Facilitate Compensation Revision and Benefit administration, also work on periodic payroll
process.
 Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR leadership to develop solutions, programs, and
policies.
 Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of
employees, reducing legal risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with HR and Legal
leadership as needed/required.
 Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to associates / line management (e.g.,
coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.).
 Works closely with management and associates to improve work relationships, build morale, and
increase productivity and retention.
 Establishes and conducts new hire HR orientation and onboarding programs in accordance with
Global HR standards.
 Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related immigration matters.
 Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
 Develops contract terms for consultants, new hires, promotions and transfers.
 Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
 Other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience and Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a combination of education and


experience
 Minimum of 4 years’ experience resulting in complex employee relations issues.
 Experience working in organizations of high growth and global complexity.
 Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices,
organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal, state,
and local respective employment laws.
 SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or MBA in
HR is good to have (not-mandatory).
