One day, while standing in the auction stage she saw an old man standing next to a young boy. “I wish someone like him would buy me” she murmured to herself. Little did she know that the old man had already talked to the auctioneer and had purchased her for the hefty price of one thousand dollars. Ginger was then carried to a barn and given some of the best feeds and grains from all over the world. Ginger loved her new home, but when her owner died she was sold to a cart man who made her pull heavy loads of rubble and brick. Poor Ginger was so sad she had not been fed any grain today. Later that day, a young man came to have a word with her owner. Ginger had no idea what was going on she was placed in an old horse trailer and being carried away. The man then stopped at a pasture and released her there were many young children and toddlers playing in the pasture.
