At the end of the exercise, the students must be able to produce accounting

a. Discuss the assessment instructions.


b. Ensure that the equipment/materials are complete before commencing

a. State to the candidate the purpose of the debriefing exercise.
b. State whether the objective was achieved during the practical
assessment.
c. Provide the result of their action and performance using the

d. Encourage them to try again and give hope of success if they fail and
require them to repeat the assessment.
e. Always be open to any remark from the candidates and take note of their
comments regarding the practical assessment.

A student must meet Performance Criteria to consider “COMPETENT”


Assessment System
otherwise “NOT YET COMPETENT” is recorded and subject to RESIT.

Practical Assessment Not applicable since it is purely lecture course

The assessment will be stopped when any of the following incidents occurred:
a. Student behaves beyond the proper decorum;

b. Student poses potential danger to the assessment procedures, and;
c. Exceeded time allotment required in the assessment plan.
The result shall be solely dependent on the performance of the student and
assessor will only measure the performance objectively by the use of the

Rubrics. Students who failed will undergo RESIT which is scheduled as per
quality standards of the institution.
Students who FAILED will undergo RESIT which is scheduled accordingly. A
Re-Sit student, who fails in the same competence 3 times, shall be allowed to take
RESITS until passing scores are met.
Final Rating The student should get a minimum mark of THREE (3) USING THE RUBRICS to
pass the assessment.
