In a final examination, 120 Grade 5 pupils passed. If this number is 96% of those who
took the examination, how many took the examination?

What are the given facts?
Sales tax = 0.05 × 6 500 Ph
= 325 Php
Total cost = marked price + sales tax
= 6 500 Php + 325 Php
= 6 825 Php
