Sr. Design Mechanical Engineer (SDME – Tujuh Bukit)

Requirement:
 Male / Female, maximum 45 years’ old
 Formal Education: Bachelor Degree of Mechanical Engineer (Preferred majoring in Design or
Energy Conversion)
 Work Experience: minimum 15 years work duration & 5 years as design engineer
 Technical Skill:
1. Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for mechanical equipment’s (i.e.
Pump, compressor, Kiln, Boiler)
2. Developing, reviewing, updating, modifying, and proving mechanical design plans and
work schedules.
3. Perform engineering calculations to support design work and good understanding in
Rotating equipment, Pressure vessel, Heat Exchanger, Combustion and static.
4. Preparation of Mechanical drawings i.e. Equipment layout, P&ID, PFD and
specifications for upgrade and new construction projects.
5. Create and reviewed technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer
software
6. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors,
consultant and contractors
7. Establishing relationships with consultant, client, vendors, suppliers, other
professionals, and expanding networks
8. Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes.
9. Participating in conferences, events, and networking and learning opportunities.
10. Drawing up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and various other documents.
11. Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
12. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
13. Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical system
14. Ensure project timeline is met and target and budget
15. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
16. Ensuring a safe, positive work environment.
17. Proficient computer skill: Ms. Word, PPT, Excel, AutoCAD Mechanical, Solid Work, Mat
Lab, Ansys, PDMS is preferred
18. Familiar and implement related project standard: ASME, API, ASTM, SAE, DIN, JIS
 Soft Skill:
1. Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics
to solve problems
2. Must be self-motivated and a great team worker
3. Attention to details and responsibility
