¼ onion, minced
1 hard-boiled egg, peeled, chopped
1 tsp. of iodized salt
2 cups of mayonnaise, reduced fat

1. Using a bowl, mix all of the above-mentioned ingredients

Sauce

1. Using a saucepan, heat oil to 300 °C to sauté pepper, ginger,
and garlic; season with salt and curry powder.
2. Transfer mixture to a blender, add mango cubes and blend

3. Pour blended mixture into a saucepan and simmer until
consistency thickens.

4. Let it cool and serve.


(3) Homemade Chili Sauce

Make your own homemade chili sauce and adjust the spiciness

Sauce

3. Transfer mixture to a blender and blend till smooth; blend in
vinegar and sugar then store in a refrigerator.

4. Keep refrigerated.
(7) Homemade Spicy Peanut
Sauce

homemade spicy peanut sauce.

1. Using a saucepan, heat olive oil to cook onion, chili-garlic
sauce, garlic, and red pepper flakes for 5 minutes until tender.
2. Pour in water, sesame oil, ketchup, peanut butter, onion, and
sugar. Cook till smooth then lower heat to simmer until the
consistency thickens for 15 minutes.
3. Best served with spring rolls, any chicken dish, or any
seafood dish.
(8) Homemade Chipotle

Chipotle is an authentic Chinese spicy oil that you can make


even if you’re not in China and you’re not Chinese.

½ cup of chipotle chili pepper, crushed
½ cup of red pepper flakes

Methods:
1. Using a saucepan, heat oil to 482 °F (use a candy
thermometer) to gauge the perfect temperature.

2. Using a mortar and pestle, grind the chipotle chilies. Stir in


the chipotle and red pepper flakes in oil; cook until chili oil
begins to froth.

3. Remove chili oil from heat, cover and let it cool overnight;
pour chili oil through a fine mesh strainer into an airtight
container.
(9) Homemade Spicy Mango
Sauce

Have a spicy and fruity sauce with the combination of mango


and spice and everything nice combined.

½ Thai chili pepper, minced
¼ cup of seasoned rice vinegar
¾ cup of mango, minced
1 tsp. of hot chili paste
1 Tbsp. of cilantro, minced

1. Using a bowl, pour lime juice, rice vinegar, mango, Thai

(10) Jalapeno Hot Sauce

Make your own Jalapeno hot sauce just like how the Mexicans
do it, at the comfort of your own household.

1 cup of white vinegar, distilled

Methods:
1. Using an enamel-lined saucepan, pour oil to sauté garlic,
pepper, onion, and salt for 5 minutes. Pour water and then
cook for about 20 minutes while stirring often, then remove
from the heat and let it cool in a room temperature.
2. Transfer mixture to a blender and puree till smooth while
pouring vinegar gradually.
3. Pour Jalapeno hot sauce in a sterilized jar with a tight lid,
store in a refrigerator.

(11) Homemade Pizza Sauce

1 bay leaf
1 onion, minced

1. Using a pot, boil tomatoes until the skin starts to peel off, let
it cool and peel remaining skin and deseed. Then puree
tomatoes using a blender.

2. Using another pot, heat olive oil and butter to cook onion,
garlic, bell pepper, carrot until tender. Pour wine and mix in
pureed tomatoes, basil, and celery stalks; simmer for 2 hours.

3. Stir in tomato mixture and simmer for 2 more hours.


4. Remove bay leaf and celery upon serving.
(13) Homemade Alfredo Sauce

Meet Alfredo! This is a creamy sauce that is a good substitute


for Parmesan and Gruyere cheese.

½ cup of apple cider vinegar

A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Valeria Ray found her
