 Keep the work area clean and free from clutter and dust.
 Dust the table surface and chair before start and when you leave in
the afternoon.
 Use a soft brush or feather duster to clean monitor, keyboard, system
unit and other devices.
 Never eat or drink at the workstation.
 Keep equipment away from moisture and external heat.
 Place a keyboard overlay on the keyboard to protect it from dust.
 Use dust covers to protect the monitor and printer when not in use for
a long period.
 Delete temporary files after you have finished with them to free space
on the local disk.
 Defrag your hard drive so that related files are placed together.
 Scan your hard drive periodically for errors and fix them.
