FACILITIES AND SERVICES

SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022
Opening in September 2005, the University Residence WorldSpru Porto Campanhã is installed in a modern building, designed and equipped
for the purpose that has been built and is located in the recent central area of Porto being around the intermodal station in Campanhã
benefits of a privileged access to a public transportation network.

It is a mixed residence with individual and doubles studios, T0 apartments and an individual studio adapted for handicapped people, reception, 2
living rooms, studying room, self-service laundry and director’s office.

LODGING UNITS
All the lodging units are fulled equipped with Internet access, TV channels, heater and telephone with direct line.

The individual studios, with 15,0 m2 to 21,0 m2 of use area, are equipped with a bed, a closet, a desk, a bookcase, bedclothes and towels.
They all have a kitchenette and a private bathroom fulled equipped.

The double studios, with 23,0 m2 to 25,0 m2 of use area, have the same equipment of the individual studios, and can house 1 or 2 residents.
Each Resident will have his own furniture, telephone, and Internet access.

The T0 apartments, with 30,0 m2 to 34,0 m2 of use area, can house 1 or 2 residents. Beside the furniture and equipment described, the T0’s
have a double couche and a TV table in the living room, and also a independent kitchen.

LIVING ROOMS
The Residence has two living rooms for the residents to socialize with Internet access.
The living rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and are furnished with couches, tables, game tables and chairs. Apart from that there are
also TV’s with cable channels, society games and a vending machine with drinks and snacks.

STUDY ROOM
The study room with good lighting has Internet access, air-conditioning and is furnished with bookcases, tables and chairs.

SELF-SERVICE LAUNDRY
The self-service laundry is equipped with semi-industrial washing and drying machines. There are also irons and ironing tables available.

TELEPHONE, WATER AND ELECTRICITY

Use of telephone, water and electricity is not included in the monthly rent and should be paid monthly at a establish price.

DETECTION AND FIRE COMBAT

The Residence has an automatic fire detection system (SADI). It also has signs and means to fight fires, namely chemical powder and CO2
fire extinguishers.

DOOR SERVICE AND VIGILANCE

A vigilance team ensures the door service and vigilance 24 hours a day.
Next to the vigilance desk, there are telephone, video vigilance system and the fire detection centrals.

CLEANING SERVICE
A team cleans common spaces daily and rooms on a weekly basis, including change of bed sheets and towels.

RESIDENCE DIRECTOR
A Director manages the Residence ensuring daily welcome, integration and following of the residents. It is also her duty to coordinate the
workers, service renders and residence suppliers.
