SCIENCE HULAGWAY SA KINAIYAHAN MECHANICS

1. The photography contest is open to all Grade 7 and 12 selected learners.

2. Only one (i) photo entry per learner.
3. Use mobile phone only.
4. Capture or take a picture that shows about environment - (nature, issues, living things, interrelationships
and the like).
5. Photograph that is enhanced or altered for creative purpose like applied with special graphic effects are
not allowed. However, minor adjustments including sharpening, contrast and slight color adjustment are
acceptable.
6. Write a short description or phrase about your subject.
7. Use a size A4 portrait frame for your A4 size image printed in a glossy photopaper.
8. Each Council must prepare a box for the people’s choice donation box. Minor award: People’s choice
Award.
9. Submit entry to JOSEPHINE W. SURUIZ on June 1, 2022@ 3:00 PM.
10. The decision of the judges is final.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

Content (The photo interprets well the subject) 40%
Originality (The photo should not be copied or borrowed from other person or resources) 30%
Photographic and Visual Impact 20%
Over all Presentation 10%

SCIENCE AND MATH ENGINEERING CHALLENGE MECHANICS

1. The contest is open to all Grade 10 to 12 learners.

2. Two participants per entry. 1 entry per council.
3. Make an innovative output out of recyclable plastic bottle that can be used as learning material
to discuss a certain topic in Science and in Mathematics.
4. Provide a long sized folder showing the name of the innovation, materials used, procedure of the
making, the functionality and the picture of the participants creating the output at home. Font
Arial, size 11, A4 sized bond paper, margin 1 cm.
5. The participants must be present during the judging and be able to defend their output.
6. The decision of the judges is final.

Innovativeness and Originality 50%

Methodology and Functionality 40%

Presentation of folders with complete data needed 10%
