Introduction

As of the importance of energy in every individual life had to occur on daily basis & the inevitability of the

alternative energy source in Saudi Arabia after the government stop the subsidiarity support to the

traditional energy market/consumer; hence the importance of the alternative source of energy specially

the 'solar power' source.

Metal system company succeeded in attracting one of the most renowned German company specialized

in solar power systems.


General Description

The two companies work in energy, contracting & trading; the sole purpose of the joint venture is the integration of the two

companies' experience. As Solar Optimo co. hold large experience in solar power systems, the Metal system co. hold

large experience in the contracting market in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Arabian peninsula countries known as gulf

countries (GCC) including internal contracting relations, management of projects, and the acquisitions of governments'

bids.

As of the birth of the joint venture between Solar Optimo co. & Metal System co. both are agreed on the management and

finance of the joint venture, such as the cost of the joint venture headquarter.

Operating Plan

• Start the headquarter office in Jeddah city &/or Al-Riyadh city.


• Steps to establish the headquarter office as follow:
1. Looking for commercial suitable space to rent.
2. Features of the space must at least contain 5 closed offices & multiple work stations.
3. Leasing the space with decent time frame.
4. Preparation and furnish the space.
5. Hire the main work force as will be agreed upon.
6. Start the immediate work necessities.
• Dedicate at least a six months budget for rent, preparation, wages and general expenses.
Organization Structure

• The main management team shall contain the following personnel's:


1. General Manager.
2. Executive Manager.

3. Contracts & procurement Manager.

4. Technical Manager.

5. Financial Manager.

6. Logistics Manager.

• General manager & human resource manager will compose a 'job description' for each manager/employee.

• General manager will do all the management work on day to day basis, and he will be the direct reference
to the executive manager to follow-up with the projects manager & contracts & procurement manager.

• The joint venture will sign a law firm to consult in every legal matter.
Established Capital

• The joint venture will estimate the established cost of, rent, furniture's, wages, governmental fees, and
general daily expenses.

• After the estimated budget, will put forward a 'Cash Flow' plan for the joint venture.
