Introduction 

Vingroup has been one of the most sustainable developing corporations in Vietnam for a couple of
decades. Known as the forerunner of Technocom group established in Ukraine, the group has a series
of the most successful real estate projects among real estate corporations in Vietnam. After
Technocom returned to Vietnam, it invested in two main tourism and real estate projects, Vinpearl
and Vincom. Gradually, these two major segments developed strongly and merged into Vingroup,

knowledge and necessary practical skills such as: office computing, presentations, foreign
languages, ... (topCV, 2018).  To simplify this program, employers have narrowed the list as soon as
the application forms are sent. Through some analyses, criteria are combined solidly with each other.
In summary, the methods that Vingroup uses have mentioned the direction and goals that they would
like to move towards,  automation, simplification, standardization, effectiveness-efficiency and
human centralization.
c. Developing human resources
‘Regardless of how effective a selection system is, however, most employees need additional training
if they are to grow and develop in their jobs’ (Griffin, 2018). There is no exception, in spite of
successfully attracting quality human resources, Vingroup also pays great attention to the training and
development of human resources - the most crucial element for all organizations.

To develop the whole corporation, Vingroup has to consider the human as the most vital element
(human concentration), consequently, training and developing are particularly focused and effectively
implemented. The corporation often applies  key training programs, capacity building and skills
training for employees, especially encouraging and promoting a culture of self-learning; all these
programs have their own system to manage and show direction to human resources standards and
their development goals. Typically, ‘at Vinpearl, managers and staff have completed more than
74,000 hours of lectures and 2 million hours of lessons; At Vinmec, the number of hours of study
reached nearly 87 thousand hours’ (Vingroup, 2021). 

Recently,  their training forms have been innovated to keep up with the digital era, which apply
advanced technology and techniques such as: digitizing training materials, deploying online courses to
encourage employees to constantly learn, actively research and learn everything, which is considered
the big jump to automation and efficiency. In addition, the testing and assessment of employees' skills
is also strictly organized to evaluate, classify skill levels and plan appropriate training contents and
programs. Training and development programs for source staff, industry experts are invested,
designed, implemented methodically and attract the attention of employees at all levels. Some
outstanding training activities that Vingroup has conducted in 2021 such as: program "Self-learning,
Overcoming yourself" to improve the spirit of proactive self-research, exploration, learning and self-
development of employees on the whole corporation scale. Another instance, ‘Vinmec has
accompanied and effectively implemented the Group-oriented training program with more than 1.7
thousand hours of self-study in this series of programs and more than 3.2 thousand hours of self-study
on LinkedIn Learning and the system’ (Vingroup, 2021).
In developing part, Vingroup have allocated an enormous amount of financial outlay to facilitating for
staff with typical titles such as: General Manager of Vinpearl/ Vinhomes/ Vincom Retail, Resident
Doctor/ Nursing Vinmec, and Vinschool Principal advanced programs to achieve high efficiency,
meeting the needs of jobs, supplement the new skills to adapt with the change of work environment .

For example, ‘Training program for PhD students and engineers in the field of Artificial Intelligence
and Data Science, developing to improve professional capacity, especially in the fields of
Manufacturing, Health, Education, Technology’ (Vingroup, 2021).
Through the policy and direction that Vingroup has applied, we can recognize the  strong connection
among different criteria: Human centralization, Standardization, Simplification, Automation,
Effectiveness-Efficiency.

Conclusion:

In summary, there are some points that we should consider and learn from Vingroup. Initially, to
reach this achievement, we have to mention the core value that the whole corporation pursues:
"CREDIBILITY-HEART-CREATIVITY SPEED-QUALITY-HUMANITY" . The core value will
show clearly directions and goals that have helped them utilize most of its available human resources
and potentiality. Besides, the management method is also an invaluable lesson for many businesses,
with the long-term development strategy of "Human centralization, standardization, simplification,
automation, Effectiveness-Efficiency", Vingroup has built a  work culture: modern, disciplined and
responsible, which is dedicated by high quality human resources. In addition, flexible change is a
considerable element that helps the corporation minimize the risk and save the sources for other
purposes (franchising Vinmart, VinEco). Each business has their own weakness and drawback, to
ensure the development of a corporation, they have to decide which areas are compatible with their
conditions and which ones are saturated. By applying those points, Vingroup has achieved their own
goals and success.
