Out Existing projects and Accomplishments

To transform our University into 21 century e-university, all aspects of the university operations
should be automated and the foundation of automating our university business operation involves
basic activities such as

 Building the best infrastructure that can handle all university’s business transactions.
 Develop a system that automating the core processes (teaching, learning, research and
community services) and
 Develop a system that support processes (Human Resource, Finance, procurement,
student services and others).

Some of the projects that are undertaken by the UoG ICT directorate to transform the university
into e-university include the following:

simultaneously and our students can
take online courses and our teachers can

Smart interactive whiteboard system
 Our university bought some of the new
generation teaching technology
whiteboard system and installed in all
campuses for trail and by considering
the significance of such whiteboard
system for the teaching and learning
process, currently additional 290 smart
whiteboard systems are under purchase
process and to start installation
trucking in all classes.
 Using such system will avoid previous
teaching experience, it will make it
more modernized and will incorporate
all the latest technological & ict
advancements and that will automate
our university learning teaching
processes.
