Dr. Gurpreet Singh

Senior Policy Analyst at Centre for Budget
and Governance Accountability (CBGA)
Previously, he was working as Associate Fellow at
Centers for International Projects Trust
(established by Columbia Water Center, USA). He
also held a position of Post-Doctoral Research
Associate (PDRA) in Cambridge University, UK
funded project. He has also worked for Institute
of Social Studies Trust (ISST) and National
Institute for Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) as
Consultant.
He has completed his Ph.D. in Economics from
Centre for Economic Studies and Planning,
Jawaharlal Nehru University.

About
Ms. Rai Sengupta is the recipient of the prestigious
Weidenfeld Hoffmann Scholarship, a prestigious full
scholarship to Oxford which is granted to 35 scholars
globally, in a bid to cultivate the leaders of tomorrow.
Having completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics
from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi,
Rai worked at an international development consultancy
IPE Global. Here, she conducted pan-country evaluations
of 24 national programs implemented by the Ministry of
Women and Child Development, and the Ministry of Rural
Development in India - including the Mahatma Gandhi
National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme
(MGNREGS), the world’s largest public works program.

Yogesh Kumar
Dr. Kumar is the founder member and Executive Director of “Samarthan –
Centre for Development Support” working in the states of Madhya Pradesh
and Chattisgarh. He has an experience of more than 25 years in the
development sector and is a professional of international repute on the issue
of participatory governance and development.

Osheen Murab
She is the President of ‘Livelihood and Beyond Foundation’ and is currently
working on ‘Project Noor-e-Syahi’. She is an India Prime Awardee 2021 for
‘100 Most Influential Women of India’. She also won the ‘Rex Karamveer
Fellow and Award 2021’ and is amongst the ’51 Most Influential Women of
Madhya Pradesh 2019’.

Namrata Acharya
She is the co-founder and director of the social enterprise. Namrata Acharya
did her bachelors and masters in economics from Delhi from Kirorimal
College and Jawaharlal University (JNU) respectively. She then worked for a
few years as an editor at Oxford University Press. She then pursued her
MPhil in Development Practice from Ambedkar University, Delhi during
which as a part of her action research

Dr.Megha Phansalkar
She is a social entrepreneur and founder ‘Tisser” supporting rural artisans
across 18 states, thus helping thousands of artisan families earn livelihood
through enterprise model. She works with World Bank since 2007 in
multiple water sanitation and Livelihood projects

SAUMYA AGGARWAL
Saumya Aggarwal is the co-founder and CEO of Youth for Peace
International working on a vision to empower youth on conflict
transformation and advocating for meaningful youth engagement at Glocal
level. She’s currently serving as the board member at Peace First to provide
mini-grant funding support to young people globally.
