CONVOCATION SCRIPT
A blessed afternoon to everyone! This afternoon’s event
marks as one of the most-awaited special event not
only for our students but also to our proud and
supportive parents.
To our ever-dynamic School Principal IV, Ma’am Lourdes
Remonte-Bigcas, to our highly competent and deeply
motivated two assistant principals, Ma’am Ma. Merle A.
Lupo and Ma’am Leny O. Boragay, to the proud and
loving parents, students, ladies and gentlemen, a
pleasant afternoon. Welcome to the Daraga NHS
Recognition Day, with the theme. “K to 12 Awardees:
Pursuing Dreams and Fostering Resilience in the face of
adversity”.
PROGRAM PROPER
To formally start our program, may I request everyone
to please stand for the INVOCATION to be led by our
student from 11-ABM 1, Kim Xavier Lodana.
You may now be seated.
INTRODUCTION
I do believe that the secrets behind this significant
event are not only teachers, to have rendered their
invaluable service by guiding these students to the right
path, but also the parents who give them the support
financially, love and encouragement in every activity in
our school.
Today signifies the months of hard work in the
relentless pursuit of knowledge that will enable our
students to embrace opportunities and take our
challenges life may bring courage, confidence, and
wisdom. Again, the hard work and patients of our
teachers and the persistence and the determination
that lies within the student’s hearts. Please give
yourselves a round of applause please!
OPENING REMARKS
For our Welcome Remarks, ladies, and gentlemen, it is
my privileged to introduce our School Principal, Ma’am
Lourdes R. Bigcas.
Thank You So much Ma’am for your empowering words
you have shared.
INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE
And now, to warm our hearts with hopeful words of
inspiration, may we listen to our DNHS Alumnus, batch
2011, Mr. Matthew D. Alcala.
Thank you, Sir. Your words will surely remain closely to
our hearts.
RECOGNITION OF DESERVING STUDENTS
At this point, we are to give the Rightful Recognition to
our Daraga NHS grade 11-ABM 1 students for the school
year 2021-2022.
May I request the parents to accompany your child as
they receive the award.

CLOSING REMARKS
At this juncture, it is my honor to give the closing
remarks as the adviser of grade 11-HUMSS 8.
I would like to share to you quote from Abegail Adams,
the wife of the late President of the United States of
America John Adams, she said “LEARNING IS NOT
ATTAINED BY CHANCE, IT MUST BE SUIT FOR WITH
ARDOR AND ATTENDED TO WITH DELIGENCE.” It means
that talent and luck might happen to you by chance, but
learning is a skill and practice that anyone can
accomplish with diligence.
To my students, don’t give up on your dreams, aim high
you are the master of your faith, you are the captain of
your soul. Always remember that everything in life is
possible. Even the word “Impossible” says “I’M
POSSIBLE”. Why? Because whatever the mind of man
can conceive and believe, it can achieve. But remember
you must make the right decision what you want to be.
So my dear students, Aim High, Dream Big, Take Heart.
You can do it. Believe in yourself. Invest in Learning. TRY
and TRY and work hard; for success comes before work
only in the dictionary.
I would also like to commend the parents for attending
our short program and for always supporting our
students. THANK YOU SO MUCH PO.
CLOSING PRAYER
