Use the ITC Locator to find the desired instructor course near
you or ask your ASC to support you in finding best option.

Register for an ITC course.

Pass the Secure Final Exam (min. score 70%)
and the Skills Based Assessment (min. score 70%).
Your ITC will complete your ITC accreditation.

If you do not pass, work with your ITC or ASC to create a study and retake plan.

Recommended Retake Approach
• If the instructor candidate does not get at least 70% score on the module exams and the
practice final exam on the first attempt, the candidate should review the training course content
and attempt the exams again.
• If the instructor candidate does not get at least 70% score on the second attempt, the candidate
should contact their ASC Academy to discuss the options for taking a formal instructor training
course at an ITC Academy or additional activities to prepare the instructor candidate for the last
third attempt on exams.
• If the instructor candidate does not get at least 70% score on the third attempt, the candidate
should engage their ASC Academy to determine the best next step. This could be to attend an
instructor training course delivered by an ITC Academy, attend ITC or ASC Academy instructor
professional development (IPD) sessions, or other appropriate options.
