A. Introduction

Activity 1. Matter it!

Let the students draw the gifts that they would like to share to their
fellowmen in this time of Covid 19 pandemic in the thought bubble. This could be
materials or non-materials.
What admirable trait do you have when you share something to others?
How do you feel about it?

Activity 2:
Based from their answers, in one or two sentences, let the students come up
the meaning of the word, “gift”.

Activity 3: Share it!

(Pre-listening )
The students will listen to the poem, Gifts for the City”, by Shirley Mary de Leon
which will be read by the teacher aloud. Then aferwards, students will give the
specific details by answering guide questions.
