Profession: BUSINESSMAN

Desciption: Rizal formed a partnership with a merchant friend in Dapitan. They worked

together in businesses such as copra, fishing, hemp, and lime manufacturing. Rizal

desires to offer a plan to enhance Dapitan's fishing methods by employing a large net

for trawl or pukutan fishing and teaching them effective fishing techniques.

Profession: TEACHER

Description: Dr. Jose Rizal spent his time in Dapitan well by teaching. He established his

own special school. It started with 3 students and grew to 16 as time passed, and he

didn't ask for money in exchange for it; instead, he asked them to help him with his

projects, gardens, and farms.

Profession: FARMER

Description: When Rizal was exiled in Dapitan, he became a farmer. Rizal used some of

his lottery winnings to buy a 16-hectare land in Talisay. He planted a var iety of fruit trees

and vegetables on it, as well as animals and poultry.
