2 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The work was awarded to M/S Frontier Works Organization (FWO) by Quetta Electric Supply
Company (QESCO) vide letter no. 01-06/PD/GSC/QESCO/QTA dated 03-01-2022. The project
progress details have been given in the next sections with issues required to be addressed for the
timely completion of work.
The construction activities are being performed in accordance with the contract requirements and
provisions for satisfactory completion, testing and commissioning of the plant.
2.1 Brief Description of Project:
CONSTRUCTION OF FOUNDATIONS, ERECTION OF TOWERS, INSTALLATION OF

TRANSMISSION LINE CONDUCTOR, HARDWARE, ACCESSORIES, INSULATORS,
STOCK BRIDGE DAMPERS, STRINGING, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF

2.3 Scope of Work:

The scope of the work to be executed under this Contract comprises of following:
1- Construction of foundations, Erection of Towers, Installation of Transmission Line

conductor, Hardware, accessories, Insulators, Stock bridge dampers, Stringing, Testing and
Commissioning of 132kV D/C Panjgoor to Nag Transmission Line (Approx. 134.5km) on
AASC Cairo conductor.

Commissioning of 132kV D/C Nag to Basima Transmission Line (Approx. 85km) on AASC
Cairo conductor.

Commissioning of 132kV D/C Basima to Nal Transmission Line (Approx. 67km) on AASC
Cairo conductor.
All materials, tools, equipment and services, necessary for the reliable and safe operation of the
transmission line.
