Dear Sir Francisco and Ma’am Catalina Simpliciano,
Greetings of peace and joy! Christmas is just around the corner. As the days go by,
we could notice how everyone is excited for that big day. From buying of gifts, home
decoration, up to preparation of bountiful meals for Christmas Eve, you would be very busy
with these preparations. As we step in Ber months. We are already in September and we are
nearly celebrating the day that our savior’s birth. Time flies so fast but we are still
experiencing this pandemic. But even though we are still in risk of this virus we are still
thankful that our family is safe and living our own life. Striving hard to live and survive, we
are luckily enough compare to others who have been effected by this pandemic, they even
risk their life and some family losses their love ones. How are you my dear sponsor and your
family out there? I hope you are doing good there with your family. Attached in this letter is a
picture that shows how I attended my online class. Even though it is hard learning online and
of all the barriers that we faced.
I and my family are
doing great. My father is working
as a farmer because a few months
later we will harvest already and
he is also the one driving my
mother to the tutee’s place where
my mother will be tutoring a
child. I also help my parents in
earning some money from
tutoring a children, it is a big help
to my family to buy rice and
other daily needs. I do manage
my time attending class as well
as tutoring a child. It is also an
additional earning to buy load for
my online class and other
necessities. My siblings are also
doing good, my younger sister Aisa is studying online but my youngest sister Angel doesn’t
have class because it’s their semestral break. She is just there in my aunt’s house, she helps
my aunt doing some household chores and she is the one who took care of the 3 pet dogs of
my cousin. My class for this school year 2021-2022, I am really happy that the end is near to
come. I am already a fourth year student. But I am nervous because I know that this year is
critical and need more learnings, skill and understanding the teaching and learning process.
Now, we have this subject where we are training and teaching us those things that will be
taking if we will take the BLEPT or what we call as board licensure examination for
professional teacher and another subject as field study where we will do an action-research.
 About Unbound, we already received our benefits last two months and I bought as
usual some necessities for our daily living like rice, groceries and some personal hygiene. I
thank the unbound staff for all the support in order to have our benefits.
