The struggle of repetition

The concept of everyday is a varied one. For some, the mere thought of
the term everyday would be a nightmare, and for some, comfort is found in the
term. This distinction is based on many factors. I, for one, feel strongly against
the word.

This is primarily due to the fact that I hate repetition. If someone said
I’m going to be doing the same thing again and again for the rest of my life, I’d
just run away. I simply cannot stand everyday being the same without any
changes.

Even then, it depends on a lot of things. Right now, being in college,

there’s a lot I can do that isn’t based on studies, like joining different clubs and
attending workshops and quizzes. However, in my school days, I was confined to
just grind through the constant schedule of classes, studies and revision with no
breaks or any stimulating activities in between.

The ‘term’ everyday means different things to different people at

different times. 3 years ago, thinking of every day was a pain. Now, thinking of
the next day and the different activities it brings is a joy!

In addition, another thing that seems to matter a lot is our mindset.

When you feel lazy and angry at your ever-increasing workload, it just makes
you want to do nothing and eventually even more things pile up. Instead, if you
look at things with vigour and aplomb, you can get so many things done without
having any stress.

Everyday, all of us wake up, eat, and go about our daily routine. For most
people, routine is just going to office/school/college and coming back. What
they do in their free time is what decides how much they enjoy ‘everyday’.
Finding something that makes you look forward to the next day is the main thing
to do.

For me, I find comfort in listening to music and writing. This relaxes me,
and makes me feel content. Moreover, it does make me look forward to
tomorrow!

To conclude, just try to find your passion. Doing so will unlock your ability
to feel excited just for being alive, and make life feel a bit easier to get
through.
